Bobbin Pendant No 4 - Yellow

The humble bobbin was the inspiration for this collection of pendants. Alongside my love of jewellery and working with wood, I have always enjoyed knit, stitch and weave and I am particularly fascinated by the traditional tools used for textiles, which are often wooden.

This pendant is made from hand-turned sycamore, and hand-painted and sealed with toy safe paints and varnishes. The bobbin form is strung onto waxed cotton cord.
